How about this Monroe 171322 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly My experience with assemblyBy T. WoodI just installed these quick struts over Memorial Day weekend at my father-in-law's service shop. I replaced the rear struts on my 2002 Ford Explorer. First off, you don't need to be an expert to replace the struts. It can be done, but it does require some extra work on an Explorer at least. Having a lift was extremely helpful as it would be harder with just floor jacks. The first strut we replaced took longer than the second. Removing the old struts does not require a special tool and you don't need to remove the springs. There are three bolts on the top portion of the strut and one at the bottom. Loosen those all the way, but in order to remove the old strut it required a little extra. First, we had to remove a bolt in the rocker arm and then we had to use a long handle crow bar to push down the rocker arm enough to pull the old strut out.
